Short History

Science is all about YOU! That's the message of A Short History of Nearly Everything, a fun, fast, and fascinating romp through the world of science. Black holes, quantum mechanics, and evolution have never been so entertaining.

Marin Theatre Company is once again bringing Lauren Gunderson's stage adaptation of Bill Bryson's award-winning book to middle and high schools around Marin County and the Bay Area.  The 50-minute performance for up to 299 students can be followed by workshops with the actors, getting the students involved and engaged in the world of science.

Miss it in the schools? Come to the family matinee performances of the show on Oct 18 and 19. Tickets are only $15 for adults and $10 for students. Call 415.388.5208 or click on the link above to purchase your tickets.

LollipopLollipop of Mill Valley scoopd up FREE ice cream in celebration of our first Theatre for Young Audiences performance of A Short History of Nearly Everything!   Our audience indulged in some delicious flavors from the newest hot (or cool!) spot in town and learn a little something about our universe too! Lollipop's ice cream is truly out of this world.

"The performance was entertaining and educational for both students and teachers. It's good when you can get folks laughing so much they hardly notice they are learning."

"Thank you all so much for a lively, informative, and fun show. The program is a great match for the 8th grade curriculum and will help the students all year tackling the advanced concepts covered in Physical Science. They will never think of Newton or Einstein the same way again!”
