In-school programs:
$100 per hour. Special discounts may be available thanks to MTC’s funders for schools that demonstrate financial need.
Afterschool programs:
$100 per hour (discounts available as above), or tuition charged to participating families (financial aid for qualifying families available from MTC’s Scholarship Fund).
San Andreas High
Drama in the English classroom
MTC sends a teaching artist twice per week for a semester into an English class, using drama to enliven and deepen the English curriculum. Monthly guest artists specializing in dance, stage combat, and hip-hop theatre also contribute, and the students take field trips to see performances at MTC. Funded by California's Artists In Schools grant.
Neil Cummins Elementary
Movement-Theatre Workshops
Teaching artists from MTC taught two one-hour classes focusing on dance and physical theatre for each 3rd grade class at Neil Cummins Elementary. Hourly rate.
Laurel Dell Elementary
Afterschool Drama Class
A teaching artist from MTC teaches a weekly afterschool drama class. Tuition paid by families, with financial aid from the MTC Scholarship fund.
