MTC offers afterschool classes from September through June at schools around Marin County. Afterschool classes for grades 1 through 5 are available through Mill Valley Parks and Recreation and Marinwood CSD-- please refer to the listings on the right side of this page.
Story to Stage: Summertime
1st through 5th graders create and perform their own original short plays based on the theme of Summertime!
We’ll play games that stretch the body, voice, and imagination. Classes will cover such subjects as playing characters, storytelling and playwriting, improvisation, and acting. Drama increases self-esteem, encourages teamwork, and inspires creativity.
The instructor is a professional teaching artist from Marin Theatre Company, the North Bay’s premiere theatre.
Students and families will be invited to a special class performance on stage at MTC’s Lieberman Theatre in Mill Valley!
Register now through Mill Valley Parks and Rec or Marinwood CSD.
