Marin Theatre Company, a LORT D theatre with a $3MM budget, seeks a Development Manager, a full-time benefited exempt position that is a member of a 2 1/2-person development team. This position is responsible for annual fund administration, Raiser’s Edge donor database management, generating reports, foundation & corporate research and grant writing support, general development tasks, and assisting with patron events. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2-4 years experience in non-profit development. Salary ranges from $35K to $40K, based on experience. Development Fellow (posted 7/6/11)
Marin Theatre Company, a LORT D theatre with a $3MM budget, seeks a Development Fellow. This position manages special events, acts as Board liaison, and supports office management by providing front desk administrative support. The Fellow will gain a broad perspective on all aspects of development, including annual fund planning and execution, donor cultivation & stewardship, Raiser's Edge database skills, dynamics of board governance, and all aspects of event planning and execution. Qualifications: Computer skills (MS Office, email, internet research, database); strong communication (written & verbal) skills; excellent interpersonal skills; high school diploma; valid driver's license. This is an 11 month contract beginning August 2011 and running through June 2012. Pay is $320/wk (total: $14,720), 40 hours per week, with some weeknights required.
